St. John’s voted to approve our Welcome Statement in January 2019, a statement that explicitly welcomes a wide variety of people who have traditionally been excluded from the Church. At that time, we also voted to become a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation. As we strive to live into our Welcome Statement and to uphold our commitments as a RIC congregation, we will celebrate RIC Weekend, Made in God’s Image,: God’s Boundless Diversity, on June 18 and 19.
