Fall Service Day

  • St. John's Lutheran Church 312 South Third Street Evansville, WI (map)

“God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America — one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. On September 11, the nearly 10,000 congregations of this church – including ours – will serve communities in ways that share the love of God with all of God’s people. Put on your St. John’s shirt (if you have one) and get ready to work! You can enjoy worship, receive a blessing at the end of worship, eat a hearty snack at 10:15am, and get to work from about 11am-1pm.

Service projects include:

·        Quilting

·        Roadside Litter Pick-Up

·        Evansville Parks and flower beds projects

·        Assembling Lutheran World Relief school kits

·        Shopping for Back to School Care Bags for high school teachers

·        And more!
