Karen Tennyson, Rock County Dementia Care Specialist, will return on Monday, September 26, 6-8pm, to lead a Dementia Friendly Training for our staff, council, congregational leaders, and anyone else who is interested. This training will mean that St. John’s will be identified as a Dementia Friendly facility. We will learn to identify that someone may have dementia, to effectively communicate and interact with individuals with dementia, and to become aware of available resources.
