Sharon has been a longtime member of St. John’s where she has worked with junior choir, adult choir, has played the organ, piano, has sung in the choir and has been a soloist.
As music director, Sharon inspires our praise and guides our music. She works with the entire congregation and especially those with special gifts in music. Sharon brings talent, experience, enthusiasm, faith, and fun all together for a winning combination to our worship life.
Prior to serving as music director, Sharon worked as an educational assistant at the Evansville Schools for twenty years.
Sharon grew up in a musical family, and she started her love of music by playing the accordion and singing in public at a very young age.
In addition to music, Sharon loves country living and has lived in the Evansville area all her life. Sharon has been a 4-H leader for many years where she led a 4-H chorus and taught sewing. Her family includes four children and five grandchildren.
