The end of summer brings beautiful opportunities to catch up with old friends, or make new ones. As our next means of connection in our year of Christ-Centered Friendships, St. John’s is encouraging all of our members to set up a social walk with a church friend sometime in the month of August. Walk around town, down the street, or head to a local park with a friend and get caught up with each other. Consider meeting weekly, or inviting someone you’re not yet friends with, who you’ve always wanted to connect to. Then, you can bring your friend along, or make a new friend at our all-church walk-with-a-friend (old or new!) event at Lake Leota Park on Sunday, August 22, at 4:00pm. We hope to see you there!
